Atlanta designer Kathleen Plate discovered her design skills when making a birthday gift for a friend, and a movement was born. Her Smart Glass Jewelry is handcrafted from recycled glass from beer, wine, Aveda, Skyy vodka, Perrier, Pellegrino and Coca-Cola bottles. The naturalist recently launched a home line, as well, including wall art, sculpture and lighting.
